Designed to give musicians a broad view of the recording process, these classes cover basic information that musicians need to know before they can make quality recordings at home. Instructors will discuss the recording process from beginning to end and provide practical tips to improve your final mixes. If you can only take one class, this is the one. It will provide a comprehensive overview of audio recording and set the stage for each student gain maximum benefit from all other classes.

This class is designed to give musicians and engineers a better understanding of the various approaches to mixing. It will cover all aspects of mixing, such as how to use EQ and compression, time based delay effects like reverbs, chorusing, and flanging. It will also discuss common techniques for stem mixing as well as treating the stereo mix. This is a good class for individuals who already have an understanding of the mixing process, but want learn advanced concepts and additional tricks of the trade. This class is taught by platinum award winning engineer, Gabriel Shepard.
